Presuming that the C continues to use 480’ trains in the future, I could see the R179’s being assigned as follows:180 cars in 4-car sets assigned to 207th Street (144 cars for C service plus spares) 60 cars in 4-car sets assigned to East New York (40 cars for the J/Z plus increasing the spare fleet) 60 cars in 5-car sets for fleet expansion |
