That's how it happened in many of the neighborhoods when they fell, they fell extremely quickly.Bushwick was a viable neighborhood in the late 60's. Just less than a decade later it was a burnt out shell of a neighborhood, and pure hell. Thing is, the neighborhood DID become bad. The crime and squalor followed. |
