I did post it several times here and back on subtalk...it always seemed to get lost in a thread that was overrun with childish trash talking.I said, it was in 108th and ended at Jewel. I don't know the precise location where it stopped...my speculation is that it stopped short of the intersection, but I could be wrong. I never was in FH before The Continental was built, so I have only a general idea of what the area looked like. I do know that I never saw any indication of vents for a subway tunnel but the roadway and sidewalks around there were reconstructed by the time the building opened in 1962, prior to my first visit there in 1964 when we came to NY for the WF. |
