As the station shell is only 300 ft across..its southern end rest at the foot of Boys High School.The DOT actually did some similar to the area during the early 70's in any regard..redirecting the streets to its present configurations..an new street through there wouldn't have changed much in a way of what was there..only redirected traffic directly to/from Utica avenue to Fulton st further west,and created a through southern routing for Stuyvesant[one way]/Utica[two way].. |
