Wow, what happened with that retaining wall? Did that collapse during Irene?

Yes. From SEPTA's website:
August was an unusual weather month by any standard. A steady series of storms persisted throughout the month, capped off by the torrential downpours and winds of Hurricane Irene. The resulting flooding wreaked havoc on parts of SEPTA's rail system, and crews have been working non-stop to fix damage caused by washouts, mudslides and erosion.
The Norristown High Speed Line (NHSL) was particularly hard hit. Ground saturation and severe erosion on hill embankments pushed a portion of the rails out of alignment between the Radnor and Bryn Mawr Stations. PECO high voltage transmission power lines located in the embankment also shifted due to the slope failure.
