Why do you need three doors per side?Improved ingress and egress and reduced dwell times. So you can have fewer revenue seats? The main goal of a transit agency is to move people. Comfort is secondary to that goal, and given the desire to carry more people, if removing seats allows us to do a better job at moving more people, then it should be done. |
