Only ten cars have been converted, so I would venture a guess that it won't receive an 11th car until late next year some time, when the brand new cars are built.I'm not certain how much testing will be required on this unit before it re-enters passenger service. With only ten cars, I wonder if it's possible this train will eventually return to Westchester Yard for (6) service. I can't imagine the (7) making an exception and running a ten-car train in the interim, even if it's just one. |
