You are right but there are other factors that may come into play here. I'll accept that there are persons who can't control body odor, but it's very difficult to believe they keep up their hygiene with dirty, unwashed clothes, unshaven (if not deliberately growing facial hair), etc. Then also remember there are chemicals and sprays to at least mask problem body odor that can be prescribed by a doctor. However, the sheer number of these unwashed ones on any given fantrip makes me believe they really don't care about their personal appearance. Very sad. I do believe that a similar problem exists in many other "fan" groups regardless of the subject they are "fanning." |
