Tickets from The IND to the Myrtle could only be obtained from a specific agent's booth at Bway/Nassau station although I do recall in 1958 being able to obtain a transfer ticket to the el at the Jay St station so when the restriction was put in, I don't know. Manhattan bound, passengers could only obtain transfers from the booths between but not including Bway/Myrtle and Bridge/Jay. At night when those booths were closed and fares were collected on board trains, transfers were available at the agent's booth at Bridge/Jay. |
