Former Brooklyn Manor Station site beneath the BMT Jamaica Line Ah Yes, Brooklyn Manor w/LIRR/PRR Keystone station sign. Brooklyn Manor was a station on the Long Island Rail Road's Rockaway Beach branch in New York City on the south side of Jamaica Avenue at 100th Street at the border between Richmond Hill and Woodhaven, Queens. The station name referred to the nearby Brooklyn Manor section of Woodhaven. The station was built on January 9, 1911 as a replacement for the former Brooklyn Hills Station built in 1882. It was demolished following its 1962 closure. |
