There was a thread here recently that indicated that the MTA is considering retrofitting all roll sign equipped cars with the possible exception of the R-32s with LED signs to expedite sign changing at terminals. Whether they will be the simpler R-46 type that merely displays route, train classification and destination inside the car or will include FIND wasn't made clear. It may depend on which type the MTA finds cheaper to install. |
