The word "faggot" and "fag" has a new, evolving definition. it's a derogatory term for a person who behaves like a total jackass. Terrapin Station is a textbook fag under this new meaning

That goes back to the 70s. Remember the Carlin routine about the difference between "fag", "queer" and "homo"?
A "fag" was a sissy. A fag's mother wouldn't let him stay out at night. "GO HOME, ya FAG!" "It's ten o'clock, the big fag's going home!" . . . The difference between a fag and a queer: a fag was a guy who wouldn’t go downtown with you beating up queers.
