Railroads have very little interest in shipping special stuff. A friend of mine is a chemical engineer. One time he had to ship some big tanks for a chemical plant. He gave up trying to deal with the railroads. He made a call to a trucking company that specializes in oversize loads and the whole thing was taken care of. |
