Troop transports could be done with any train, however there were special troop trains made up of box cars with windows and inter car doors. They had a galley (kitchen) car with the division's own cooks doing the work.Him just thunk that a dingy green car looked like a troop car. But actually the SP cars were gray. About the same shade of gray as a NAVY battle ship. roar |
