When this issue came up on subchat, last year, I was fortunate enough to be able to talk to engineers from Kawasaki and Alstom. Based on what they told me and from what I gleaned from their websites, that is correct. Both are bi-levels bu the NJT cars are referred to as mulit-levels based on boarding capabilities. Heaven help us if the start boarding through roof hatches. |
