Thanks for sharing.I look forward to seeing how this project progresses. And once operations begin, I will look forward to the kinds of impacts it will have on the day-to-day lives of Lagos residents and Lagos' urban form (hopefully positive, but something that won't be quantifiable until several years after opening). Hopefully it can become a successful example of high capacity transit for the many burgeoning cities in developing world. But I fear the amount of corruption in Nigeria might have a negative effect. Let's hope this is one area where Nigeria's corruption will not become too pervasive. Here is a map of the planned rail network:  Taken from a file on the LRMT website |
