One last batch of pics from Main Street in Memphis...   Here's the northernmost station on Main Street, at Auction Avenue:  North of Auction, the Riverfront Line turns off to the left, to loop southward. The carbarn is a bit further north.  I think that wraps up this trip, finally. I'm not doing anything nearly as ambitious this summer, but my wife and I are planning to drive to New England. We'll probably visit the Mt. Washington cog railway, the Seashore Trolley Museum, and the heritage streetcar in Lowell. Maybe Branford. If we visit a friend of hers on Long Island, I can probably get a day to come into the city. We'll see... |
