That was 40-50 years ago, football subculture has evolved a lot since then. They didn't have the tailgating to the extent that it's done now...the vast majority will STILL use cars. That is not to say it wouldn't be used, but the majority will always come by car because of the tailgating involved with football.If downtown stadiums are built, and traffic and parking become a nuisance, more fans would use transit. Or just have a cookout at home before you go to the game. |
