From what I was told by people who worked flagging in the area just prior to 1956 when the IND was connected to the Fulton El, there was a temporary wooden wall at the end of the "mainline" IND tracks that was replaced around the time Grant was built with the concrete wall that exists there today. By the time that George and I got there in 1962, the concrete wall was already in place. |
