"as it slopes towards the sewerage plant"That's sewage treatment plant, WADR. Worked there for a couple of summers as your sort of college intern. Was great to wake up in the morning and see the ships lined up and/or coming into the harbor as the sun rose. Set the cholorine mixture at 11 pm, sleep, adjust it at 6 am; all while being on the payroll. Prolly still goes on, and that was 40 years ago. |
