I spent 20 minutes watching that video, and fail to see what any of that has to do with "76th St and Pitkin". As far as I could tell, it was a propaganda video (not saying that's bad) for a plan to build a park, or try and clean up the small area dividing Howard Beach and East New York, and that's not really the Ozone Park area where 76th St/Pitkin is, and instead the other side of Conduit Ave.While an interesting video (to an extent), it really doesn't do anything to prove this station one way or the other, nor do I believe these "5 foot drops" on either side of Pitkin Ave in in 1951 images. |
