There is no station shell, but there is open space above the Fulton ROW for the Bedford Av subway a bit west of Nostrand station and that's why the mezzanine from the express platforms was built the way it was, to provide for a transfer to the Bedford Av subway. What is surprising abut that is that while there are complete shells above the A Line and G Line for the So 4 and Utica subways, 2 Av/Houston only has an open space above the existing station for the SAS rather than a full shell which one would think would have been built like the other two. |
