Heh, I just read through it, and I remember it like yesterday. Wow, 4/1/2002.....that's 9 years ago! Where the HELL did the time go.
Anyway, I said the same thing I just did, I am about half way down the thread with my first post on it:

Alright this is a cute joke.
It had me for a while too.
Three clues after rereading it, and the thread:
-Fluorescent lighting in the station in 1948.....yeah right.
-Davidg quotes "catch it while you can" - sounds like you were in on it when you posted it!
-Sinkholes, a man coming screaming out of his house, and solid ground where there used to be stairs....none of this ludicrously is written like that in any of the real accounts of abandoned stations......
It's a great joke though. He must be rolling in laughter.....


Riding between cars is prohibited.....Except for on the R40 Slants
