The relief engineer and her passengers wait as Amtrak 19 pulls into Union Station. California Zephyr #5 is about to enter Tunnel 13 as it climbs slowly out of Coldstream Canyon. The winter's snowfall is still holding strong in the distant Sierra mountain range on this beautiful May morning. With the Sierra Mountain Range lurking high above, Amtrak #5 heads West through a s-curve after climbing through Coldstream Canyon. You get the idea... |
