Bookmark it, cuz it's always changing (that's what a tracking poll does). Romney is also up 2 points with Rasmussen |

Nor do I buy into polls at this point. BTW...Presidential approval is 50%. Debunks Ras. They aren't asking a large enough or geographically diverse sample pool. |

Last week, they were the most accurate pollsters. Now, even as I type this, libs are tweeting it's back to being a right wing pollster. |

That's why I am laughing about it. When I would post a Gallup poll, I would be told here it was right wing and highly inaccurate. Last week, all the same people were tripping over themselves and orgasming, and it was the most accurate poll. As you said, this week, the usual suspects of the left will be saying how right wing the poll is, forgetting about the orgasmic mess they left on the floor last week. |

They haven't even had a face to face debate yet, so we can't see who can handle the heat better. These polls at this point are only good for toilet paper. |

The other Chris bombards them with polls then feels butt hurt when it swings back at him in the other way. Then whines, a troll tactic then calls out the left for the polls. He's a hypocrite at most. |

It was the night before the 2002 Vermont gubernatorial election and I went to sleep with the majority of polls showing Jim Douglas (R) trailing Doug Racine (D) by 10% in the race to replace Howard Dean. Douglas defeated Racine 45% - 42%. Douglas went on to be re-elected 3 times which for Vermont, by and large a progressive leaning, Democratic constituency, was an extraordinary accomplishment. To better illustrate my point, Grace Potter of the band Grace Potter and the Nocturnals was raised in my small town of Waitsfield. I do not like that band so I will not provide any pictures, clips, or links, and thanks again. |

Perhaps my sarcastic demeanor did not register with you. I don't really know who will win this race and neither do you. However, I hear a lot more unsupportable confidence coming from the left than right. |

OK, where's the date.On the graph, along the X-axis. No, it doesn't have vertical lines for each day, but if you scale it off it's obvious that it ends in late April. On the front page, it's in the right column. "GALLUP DAILY Apr 27-29, 2012 – Updates daily at 1 p.m. ET; reflects one-day change...PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION Romney 47% +1 Obama 46% -1 5-day rolling average." If you click either "Obama" or "Romney" it brings you to the graph. |

I hate them because the question is "if the election were held today." This is irrelevant because it's not being held today. The better question would be: Unless you learn something between now and then that would make you change your mind, whom do you expect to vote for next election day? |
