It's hi-viz, part of the required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) for walking in Brentwood. That was how Search & Rescue was able to locate me.

I did get a hotdawg from HESS (it looked like it had been on the roller for more than 8 hours), and was thinking about going to the White Castle but decided against it when told about its special "lax" properties.

The 7-Eleven at the Matawan train station in Matawan, New Jersey actually closed permanently earlier this year because there were so many "day laborers" hanging out there and harassing the customers...

These signs (picture taken after the closure) were actually posted in front of the store for many months prior to its closure:

The violence in Brentwood as evidenced by this tragedy is appalling. I am particularly concerned about the VOR(L)/DME navigation facility in Deer Park. That thing sits directly on the Corridor of Death between Brentwood and Wyandanch and it is only a matter of time. Rest assured I'll be tracking all arriving B6 flights that file that fix especially once the warm weather returns. This is not going to end well. Amanda called me an ignoramus in a recent thread I think which is her right. Thanks again for reading my post even though it is all over the place.

I just did that there about a year and a half ago. Got stuck there for three days, two days of waiting around, and then finally getting questioned the third day, and then finally let go.
