In agreement with R30A, there is a difference between the strong form of atheism, which the assertion that there is definitely is no god, and the weak form, which is merely the assertion that there is no evidence of god. It is more rationally prudent to follow the weak form, since it is impossible to say with certainty that there is definitely is not anything. That being said, without evidence there is no reason to ascribe belief in something, and that is the logically correct form of atheism, which is essentially equivalent to agnosticism. |
