I've been to and gone to many places, when gas was cheaper.I can't explain or convince you of Miami if you've never seen or heard of it. It's a one of a kind different animal. Where everyone just so happens to get shot...if you have an out of town plate, or a security officer, visiting the mall, etc etc...if the third world drivers or lack of english doesn't get you first. Anyway, after so much gas money, i don't feel the need to explore many places if I'm not going to see anything interesting. What's the point, and why go somewhere I don't belong. And before you racists all judge me, how often do you go down desolate country roads, or places that are like deliverance? I know what you're saying about the Blue Line, I don't think Liberty City, with a video game named after it, is that. |

What in the world does Larry Silverstein's religion have to do with our discussion? I merely stated that he was the PA's tenant, and that he (rightfully) collected on the policies he held (and paid premiums into) on the WTC. People do benefit from disasters, but sometimes that is how it should be. Silverstein was properly compensated for the loss of his property. We most certainly do think in different ways. Your slur on Silverstein had no business in our discussion of the WTC collapse, and I daresay it will get the entire thread reefed. |

The part where you suggest that "Jews look bad", plus your insinuation of a negative behavior on Silverstein's part which you attribute directly to his religion. It is reprehensible, trite and irrelevant to the topic at hand. Your bigoted phrasing is beneath an intelligent discussion of the WTC.Referring to Silverstein as a "bastard" when he received exactly what a judge ruled he was, in fact, entitled to, is also improper. |

I see elderly Irish and other European ladies on the blue line fairly often. Even at night. Also we probably have a higher percentage of Spanish speaking riders. The thing that I notice about our door closing announcement is that the doors are already closed halfway through the Spanish version. It's kind of a waste in that regard. |

It'll burn long before it melts. It's also very brittle. Not to mention very heavy (I once worked in a warehouse that handled tungsten; a 120-lb bag occupies the same dimensions as a 25-lb bag of sugar), so it's not very practical as a building material, unless in alloys. |
