The investigation was started long before Adams criticized Biden. But he won't get re-elected. so trying to destroy one of their own makes little sense to me. Do you not understand that he's a crook? His presence is detrimental to the Democratic Party in NY. I personally don't think removing him from office would have been appropriate, but I the thought behind it is pretty clear. |

I think the bigger issue has been how the Trump administration handled it. If I were in Bove's position I would have framed it as "we believe the prior administration's Justice Department was tainted with weaponized partisanship. We don't know whether this case was one of them, but we need more time to investigate if it was so that is why we want to discontinue without prejudice." |
