Irish anti-Semitism is unfortunately a very real thing. Which is a shame, because Ireland is a very beautiful country and I wish I could visit there.I read somewhere that Irish anti-Semitism is an outgrowth of their hatred of the English, whom the Irish still see as imperialist occupiers, and who hate the Irish because of the whole Protestant-Catholic thing. Ireland does have diplomatic relations with Israel, however. |

No; it's purely EU propaganda. And the Irish didn't even hate the English back when the uprisings of the last century occurred; that was also a propaganda campaign. Plenty of Irish kept moving to England for work throughout the past century as well, into the present day. |

"Irish anti-Semitism is an outgrowth of their hatred of the English, whom the Irish still see as imperialist occupiers, "Yet it feels like they want England to take everything back over. Or at least the EU. Smart bunch. |

The Irish might hate the British. But they love to migrate to England, USA, and Canada. They have been major beneficiaries of British colonization. Yes England occupied Ireland. It was for their own survival. If England didn't, another empire would have and from there(Ireland), launched an attack on England. Spain. France. Portugal. Or worse the fucking barbary tribes. |

About the shit that's going on in Australia and the country tumbling and hundreds waving neo-nazi flags." don't know this country anymore. It has quickly become a country i don't want to live in. Albo has handed it to the terrorist. Everything our Anzacs battled for, being spat on. But should we be surprised? No. Anthony Albanese the son of a Irish decent mother (The Irish who never battled in WWII because they sided with the nazi) and (maybe who knows really) an Italian father ( the italians who sided with the nazis had death camps, who allowed about 8,000 Jews to be murdered.) That is who is running this country. No wonder he kneels to Hamas." |

Donovan's Pub, right under the El at 58th St & Roosevelt. You can smell the burgers from a passing #7 local. A Woodside institution...and a gold mine. |

They have new owners that took over right before the pandemic when old man Donovan retired. The quality is still "top shelf". When I'm in town, I try to make a trip there. Supposedly the place sold for $1.5 mil. |
