And then say that the shutdown wasn't their problem - they had come to an agreement and the Republicans hadn't honored it. But they didn't do that, even though it would have been good for the Democrats, because it would have been bad for the country. |

Trump and Musk suddenly loudly opposed it, issuing threats against any Republican who would vote for it. So Johnson yanked it. 5. Johnson announces a version 2, with no consultation with the Democrats at all. It fails, because no Democrats vote for it and not enough Republicans do. 6. Johnson and Jeffries have some kind of discussion as to what Democrats might accept. The Democrats get far less in this version 3 than they got in version 1. So they've been successfully flimflammed. Why do the Democrats support version 3? It has way less for them than the version 1 that they agreed to with Johnson. There's only 1 reason. Because it's better for the country than a shutdown. Not a single Democrat votes against version 3. You can't say that for the Republicans. |

Whether the liberal establishment of the democrat party can ever admit their malfeasance in protecting and lying to shield that bumbling ignoramus, the ball fact is they did. And look what we wound up with!!The evidence is now clear as day. Buck Fiden was a washed up old coot who couldn't put two sentences together, couldn't find his way off the stage after another blundering attempt to show he still "had it", and today pardoned 37 filthy bastard killers from death row. The "D" Party is responsible for where the country is today, but I have always though the Democrats believed they could get away with it, run the clock down and put someone else up because they did not believe Trump could win.......BUT TRUMP WON AND NOW WE WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE AMERICA FIRST, AND DOWN TO THE BUSINESS OF GETTING OUT OF THE HOLE BIDEN AND COHORTS PUT US IN.
