Because at some point GPU's became magnitudes better at processing things than CPU's are. And there was a smaller field of competition doing graphics for just games originally.Then there's the new thing called NPU's. |

They not only have the best GPUs, they also developed a way to program those GPUs, which is why crypto mining and AI developers love Nvidia and not AMD.The second most important company is TSMC, the company which makes Nvidia chips. |
