There will always be exceptions.

And that is exactly why early voting is an important thing to have available.

Bullshit. They happen a fair amount.

Vance is more of an immediate threat than Ramaswami.
Trump doesn’t look like the picture of health and I’ve heard talk of Vance and his handlers pulling the 25th on old Donny boy.

Of course Vance is more of a threat. I was just answering the question.

You can't pull the 25th on a President very easily. If the President says he's fit to govern, his opposition has to get a 2/3 vote in both House and Senate.

The polling place at the VFW where my parents had to vote always had the longest line! But nobody left the line. The voting places thay over voted maybe had 4 people ahead of me at most. You are justifying early voting due to some far fetched scenario. BTW, Have you heard about the Georgia voting machine problems they are experiencing, switching the candidates? Guess which one they are switching to?

Georgia's government is run by Republicans. So you're saying they are so incompetent they can't even run a fair election when they're in charge.

Whats the big deal about voting on a Tuesday?? Its been done from day one in the USA. My take is the following: If a candidate is going to run around the country, attend rallys, get shot at, etc. and put themselves out to get my vote, then I can put my self out to take the time and trouble to go to the polls and give him/her my vote...on Tuesday. But thats just me.

It was not done from “day one.” Congress only prescribed a specific Election Day in 1845.

The United States from “day one” was a preïndustrial society. Whatever worked back then does NOT still work.

Many people work. Election Day on Tuesday is not convenient for most people. Election Day should be on Saturday or Sunday.

Polls are open until 8-9PM in most states. Enduring the inconvenience FOR ONE DAY to choose who will run the country for the next 4 years is not asking too much, strictly in my opinion.

I wouldn’t. First, I’d rather be destitute than live under tyrannical rule.

Second, Trump’s economic plans are insane and would destroy the economy.

Third, the main thing a president does is foreign policy. Trump’s foreign policy would also weaken our economy.

My early voting location is in Alphabet City (13th between B and C) and it's obvious that most people who go there on the weekends are doing it because it's easier on their work schedule than going on Tuesday.
