The decision to skip Netanyahu's speech was made before Biden stepped down, and frankly, no good comes out of Harris's presence. Truth be told, Bibi should be at home trying to get his people out of the living hell that is Hamas captivity and/or explaining why he is still in power nearly 9 months after the worst security failure in Israel's history, not coming to speak to Congress. The Yom Kippur War began on October 6, 1973. Golda Meir was out of the premiership on April 11, 1974 and gave up her seat in the Knesset on June 7, 1974. |
