The Apollo Program indirectly paid for my graduate education. I was a research assistant at the I-Lab for most of that time. The project I was working on was a third backup, if the Apollo guidance computer design failed. The project had primary uses besides being an Apollo backup.

I was long gone, when the moon landings took place.

Possibly, but the 2020 stolen election believers form a vastly larger circle, so it wouldn't look like your typical Venn diagram.

This things I believe:

Lee Harvey Oswald shot JFK and Connelly from the 6th floor of the Texas Cheesecake Depository, he acted alone, was not part of any conspiracy, and the same is true for Jack Ruby.

I would agree that there is no significant credible evidence to the contrary.

But I would say it is still plausible, and not completely disproven, that Oswald and/or Ruby might have been paid or otherwise convinced to commit their crimes by third parties.

What is plausible is that Oswald and Ruby were connected to Sam Giancana and the Chicago Mafia to take out JFK for what RFK was doing against the organization. Jimmy Hoffa became a target of RFK. Sam G and Jimmy H felt doublecrossed by JFK since they arranged for all their connected unions to vote for JFK.
Meaning without their help, JFK would have lost to Nixon.
As an aside, If Trump gets elected, he promises to release any and all classified documents about the JFK assination.
What possibly could be hidden for all those years that keep those documents classified?

I wasn't really pointing out that it was actually the Mafia, just that if it was a conspiracy, they've had decades to cover it up and/or leave as little of a paper trail as possible. More or less agree about the Mafia though, unless the Mafia did a REALLY good job of covering their tracks (which I doubt).

The weird thing about it is that there’s a perfect conspiracy right there for the taking:

Oswald defected to the Soviet Union, his wife was from there. A conspiracy that the USSR was responsible would actually make sense, and a cover up of that would also make sense, since letting such a truth go public would mean World War III.

Nothing else even comes close. That this isn’t the main conspiracy theory just shows that conspiracy theorists don’t know what the fuck they’re doing. That or the KGB developed all of these mafia theories to deflect blame from themselves.

Russia most likely helped him.

Oswald tried to kill Army General Walker months earlier. And he got away.

He got away from the JFK scene.

FBI has a file on him.

I think Oswald worked with Russia or rogue elements of US government conspired to let him slip through the cracks until finally doing something crazy.

It doesn’t make sense because the whole thing was serendipitous. Oswald had been working at the depository for months, while the parade route had been decided at the last minute. Oswald brought his rifle with him that day he claimed to his neighbor whom he carpooled with that it was “curtain rods”.

The idea that the Soviets were involved isn't crazy, although there wasn't any evidence from when the Soviet archives were open.

Right before he shot JFK he went to the Russian embassy in Mexico City. He went to New Orleans to hand out political literature.

I think he shot JFK but was part of a conspiracy.

That he was working there for months means that he wasn’t brought in for the purpose of eventually killing Kennedy. Moreover, it was Kennedy himself who chose that venue and that route. So unless it was suicide by weirdo, it couldn’t have been a conspiracy.

So he acted alone. No conspiracy, no directions from anyone or ties to anyone, just woke up one day and said, Gee I'm bored I think I'll just go out and shoot the president and maybe kill a cop if he gets in my way.
I don't buy that.
