I agree with Jeff that marijuana is harmful. So is alcohol. However, banning either of them is more harmful than legalizing them.

It's not particularly a gateway drug, but it is a dangerous drug, just like alcohol. It may also be dangerous in more insidious ways, since the long term ill effects, like decline in cognition with heavy use, are harder for the medical profession to observe.

As a kid, My gateway drug was vanilla extract. IIRC it was made by an outfit called Ehilers (SP) That stuff was 70 proof. My mom would add a capfull to my Bosco and Sealtest milk with a raw egg, put it in a blender for a minute & presto, I had home made eggnog.
That was my first step down my road to ruin!!

12/23/22 my youngest brother died from b pot laced with fentynal. By the time I get the autopsy results. The Broward police was no longer interested. But do not say that pot is not dangerous

Hillary Clinton won the popular vote in 2016, by around 3 million. I wouldn't say that. She was the American people's clear choice.

A fluke within the electoral college system threw the election to trump.

President Biden won the popular vote by a larger margin, as well as the electoral.

Nonsense. If that was his goal as president, He had 4 years to do that and it never happened. I don't see a serial adulterer instigating "Christian nationalism". As far as authoritarianism, that shouldn't be concerned with leadership. Right or wrong he was genetically predisposed as a leader. His real estate empire and his billions of $$$ in wealth can attest to that.

And you think the guy who congratulated Xi on his becoming president for life would have prevented that? Trump liked to think of himself as a leader, but he was weak and incompetent as fuck. And even if he were a good businessman (which he never was), those skills don’t translate to running a national government and its foreign policy.
