Yeah, I think that it must be stronger. Cigarette smoke stays with the smoker and on their clothes, but weed is on another level. Someone that smells strongly like weed can walk by me outside and the smell lingers for a long time. |

I'd prefer public smoking of marijuana being treated like a very minor offense, like overtime parking at a meter. Just enough so a cop could say put it out. The skunk smell fouls up the whole neighborhood. |

I find tobacco and marijuana smoke to be about equally unpleasant. In the old days when marijuana didn't smell of skunk I minded it much less. |

All types of products are regulated so that they don't smell, diesel fuel for example. In southern California bakeries aren't even allowed to emit the smell of fresh baked bread. They need to require that manufacturers defunkdefy MJ in my opinion. |

I still equate it with cigarette smoke. My old people comment was because people soft-pedal cigarette smoke but because it’s weed they’ll say it smells worse |

Maybe, but I think that weed is quite a bit worse. Maybe I'll get used to it, but it's been a thing around here for a couple years now, so probably not.Maybe it is age, I don't know. I grew up in a houseful of smokers and neither cigarette nor weed smoke ever bothered me, but I find both offensive now. |

I personally find tobacco smoke to be slightly worse. Maybe because it's stronger. I suspect tobacco smokers let more of the smoke go straight into the air while marijuana smokers make sure it all goes through their lungs first. |
