Washington Square Park thread
Posted by LuchAAA on Sun Jun 13 16:59:23 2021 It's like a piece of the Northwest in NYC. Like Portland. Or Seattle's CHOP zone. It's NYC's no-go zone now that NYPD isn't enforcing the curfew. Stabbings. Fights. Who knows what else?

Can you explain? What risks is a little old lady who lives on 5th Ave taking if she chooses to walk to LaGuardia Place going through the park rather than walking around it?

If the park is closed after a certain hour, it's fucking closed!! The dregs of society don't get to decide that THEY don't want to listen and stay. The police gotta go in, and eject and/or arrest, with force if necessary.

So now the police were told to stand down for the time being. And, the taxpayers who live in their houses and apartments around the park are the ones that lose. In the daytime, the parents/nannys who bring children into the park and have to wade through syringes, works, and the such, also lose.
