An evening stroll with BLM

Posted by Dave on Wed Sep 2 07:35:38 2020

WSJ editorial.

Democrats seem to be figuring out that they made a political blunder by failing to condemn urban violence at their virtual convention last week. Then came the riots in Kenosha, Wis., in Minneapolis again, and elsewhere, and Joe Biden finally criticized the violence and looting in a video on Wednesday.

He may have to do more after the GOP convention drew a sharp line between peaceful protest and violence. And he may have to go even further than that after the video scenes of harassment on the streets of Washington, D.C., that went viral on Thursday night and Friday.

Black Lives Matter protesters outside the White House cursed and threatened people walking to their hotels after they attended the President’s nomination acceptance speech on the South Lawn. One man with gray hair was sucker-punched and fell to the ground. A middle-aged couple was cursed for blocks by a woman wearing a mask covering her head and a crowd that jostled and threatened them.

Florida Rep. Brian Mast, who walks slowly with prosthetic legs, was surrounded and screamed at again and again to answer, “What do you feel about police killing black people?” When he calmly replied that killing anyone is wrong and everyone deserves due process, they screamed at him more loudly. Mr. Mast lost his legs while serving with special forces in Afghanistan as a bomb disposal expert.

Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul and his wife were assailed by a large crowd and a woman shouting “say her name!,” referring to Breonna Taylor, who was killed by police at her home in Louisville. Mr. Paul says he feared for his safety and thanked police for protecting them. He is the co-sponsor of the Justice for Breonna Taylor Act that would ban no-knock warrants like the one police used in Louisville. If the mob really cared about constructive change, they’d lobby the Senate Democrats who filibustered police reform legislation.

This is ugly stuff, and it couldn’t have done more to validate the GOP convention theme that the left wants to stifle and punish anyone who won’t bow before its demands. Americans who see these and other scenes of BLM censure and harassment will rightly conclude that they could be the next targets. If this continues, Democrats may be surprised again this year on Election Night.

Hmm.

Peaceful protesting by BLM = "threats, harassment"

Trumpers shooting first = "self-defense"

🙄🙄🙄

we all have the freedom to extrapolate facts from data. well, i'll make this extrapolation:

probably ninety percent of all these punk assed dick breaths would've had the common sense that god gives all sentient beings the opportunity to acquire beaten into then by the existence of a universal military draft.

based on your "logic" it would be fine and dandy if someone told you "i want to come to where you live and peacefully protest every possession you have into a truck and peacefully protest a huge pile of garbage into your floor and peacefully protest a lit match on the garbage and peacefully protest your door from the outside with a commercial garbage container blocking it from you leaving and peacefully protest shooting tear gas into your windows."

thas wuss called freedom of expression, pendejo.

Harrasing people and cursing them for blocks as you follow them I'd not peaceful.
I'm sure they swayed a lot of people to their cause made a lot of racists and left haters out of them confirming leftist type stereotypes

I will remind you that not a single gunshot fired in Kenosha, WI, over the past two weeks was from BLM protesters or their supporters.

You also conveniently forget the terroristic caravan of Trumpers in Portland who fired paintballs and threw projectiles from their vehicles at peaceful BLM protesters. Then, there's that armed group of thugs, which included Kyle Rittenhouse, whose activities ended with a double murder.

Behold the Right.

But the problem is that enough voters are irrational that way. Regressives are too stupid to take the long view.

And they’re making a bigger mistake by now trying to blame it on Trump, which absolutely nobody believes and everybody knows is a lie.

Wouldn't stop them from becoming traitors. And even worse, they'd have genuine military training in their arsenal.

They're brainwashed into thinking God doesn't exist. Better get to know your enemy.
