It's not plagiarism, it's that conservatives are upset that Biden used a Mao quote, while they're silent about Trump using a Mussolini quote.As for why Trump's is worse: Trump quoted Mussolini where Mussolini advocated violence (probably in support of the invasion of Ethiopia or something), whereas Biden is quoting Mao supporting women's equality. Sometimes quotes are valid regardless of who said them. Unless you're Olog-hai, for whom gender equality is a communist plot. |

I googled and all I saw was him retweeting someone else that quoted MussoliniNow what search terms did you use? I found this by using Google. It's from an ABC News interview with Robin Roberts. The quote is from Mao Tse-tung, but Biden calls it "that old expression". Quite simply, Biden is a Maoist; Obama would never have picked that old white man as VP otherwise. |
