Hit post too soon: Which is why the cops voluntarily leaving showed they are honorable, and that the "customer's" fears were unwarranted.I used to regularly eat at a restaurant in a bad neighborhood (by Albany standards) that regularly gave uniformed law enforcement discounts, and as a result has cops and troopers in at all hours of the day. Simply having police as regular customers is basically free armed security, no proprietor with any brains would ever make them feel unwelcome. |
