I remember entering and exiting that thread in record time because I knew it was a lost cause for me personally. My first couple posts wee innocent enough but then I let my ego get in the way and attempted to pass off hearsay as fact. I was immediately set upon and called out for being, among other things, a moron and just plain stupid which of course was accurate. It was at that point I doubled down raised the stakes upped the ante call it what you will and dug myself an even deeper hole by manipulating and falsifying data and outright lying in the hope that said individuals would figure I must be correct. It never followed that script so I got out of there before any other damage could be done. That was not one of my better efforts. |

Notice how the narrative has shifted almost without notice. The taking the knee by kaepernick was allegedly NOT ABOUT THE FLAG BUT ABOUT POLICE RACISM, ETC. Now, suddenly, it is about the flag and states supporting slavery, according to kaepernick. I usually do not support boycotts against businesses who get caught up in political dramas but Nike brought this one on themselves and I hope this one causes them to take enough of a beating that they fire the asshole who decided to pull the sneakers off the market |
