Because people will be worried that if they don't answer they will be targetted by ICE so will just not return the form at all leading to an undercounting of population for census purposes. According to the Constitution, even though illegals are not citizens they are still to be counted for the census. It is not just those eligible to vote. |

Spanish is nearly an official language from Erie, Penn to Seattle, Wash. Unless they're going to make them 2/3rd of a person, how does it effect voting districts?Is that like police cars 3 blocks away from polling locations, or the fact that in India they all have an ID to vote? |

Obviously, the IDs would be a state thing, but the Postal Service can cooperate with the local authorities. Post offices are by far more available than DMVs.But then, I'm one of those pinkos who supports postal banking. |
