The most operative question WRT Sanders supporters is whether or not they vote at all. Most are in the demographic that doesn't.Clinton's campaign never appealed to this demographic. It should never have expected any support from this demographic. Therefore, it should not be concerned whether they vote or not. The majority will vote for Clinton, no questions asked. I can conceive of situations whereby Sanders supporters might vote for Trump. It depends on Clinton's long awaited pivot to the right. |

Part of the Clinton supporters' animus towards Sanders and his supporters stems from Clinton having to move much further to the left than than their election strategy plans. Many Sanders supporters view Clinton's leftward tilt as a cynical ploy. A "rightward pivot" for the general election would confirm that judgement. |
