Someone like Gregg Costa of the 5th Circuit and from Texas would be tough for Republicans. He clerked for Rehnquist although he is a Democrat. Senator Cronyn had recommended him to Obama for District Court and Obama then elevated him to Fifth Circuit where he was approved 97-0. Would be hard for Cruz and especially Cronyn to say we should not vote for him for Supreme Court although he is to left of Scalia |

Around the same time he was seekng to elimnate ACA, which was the only way that someone with a pre-existing condition could be certain to get insurance, I was diagnosed with stage 4 throat cancer. Because I had insurance to pay for radiation and chemotherapy, I'm alive and pretty much well (radiation did do some permanent damage) and completely cured.So yes, he did intend to harm me and millions of other Ameicans that find themselves in my shoes. It is personal. |
