It's not faith-based, it is an evidence based process which develops theories to describe natural processes through hypothesis and observation.And don't quote science to me - science is a constantly evolving practice, with new things being discovered all the time. If you disagree with it, then help it change. Perform your own observations and develop your own theory. But don't ignorantly discard the theories of others without offering anything substantive to replace it. Unfortunately most of the right wing is dedicated to destroying the scientific process for the sake of religious or ideological benefactors. |

Especially by using computer models based on an atmosphere that doesn't exist anywhere on Earth.The IPCC models specifically include water vapor, so that claim is an ignorant canard dreamt up by the right wing blogosphere. What they do not include is anthropogenic water vapor creation, because it's insignificant in comparison to natural evaporation. The chart shown by most right wing blogs crowing over the IPCC's "oversight" is specifically titled anthropogenic sources and again, water vapor directly created by our actions does not merit inclusion. Instead water vapor is dealt with as a feedback product from temperature rise as a result of anthropogenic global warming. |
