How many of them were forced to spend untold hours looking after younger siblings or working for pay to the point that they had no time for schoolwork? How many of them didn't have access to the resources needed for a proper education? How many of them were stuffed down the school-to-prison pipeline?How many of them graduated but couldn't afford college? How many of them have college degrees, but can't find jobs? How many of them have jobs, pay taxes, obey the law, and are forced to live in terror anyway? But if you're white, I suppose it's easier to blame black people for everything that's been done to them than to actually acknowledge the elephant in the room of systemic racism. |

I mean today.So you believe there's no such thing as a black neighborhood today? There WAS slavery, consisting of ALL different races and ethnicities throughout recorded history. I'm referring to this country, dumbass. There WAS segregation... Which you believe was a good thing or at least harmless. ...there is NO white privilege Then why are black people so much poorer? Why are employers more likely to hire a white person even if he's less qualified? It is classism, get it right. So how come rich black people are accused of shoplifting when they enter a high-end store? |
