We were flying with split scimitars and the gusty winds on 4R were approaching our maximum crosswind limits which are slightly reduced as compared to blended winglet equipment so the OG, who is married to a girl from Mississippi and was flying this leg, wanted 29 to better align with the quote environmental conditions unquote. I saw a classic, old fashioned Shop-Rite delivery truck on the NJ Turnpike pass underneath us... it is strange the things you remember. |

I forgot that the new split scimitar have a slightly lower crosswind limit and since the majority of Untied's 73's are of the old style I probably just assumed you were flying one |
