Wants to keep the "character" of the neighborhoods like the South Bronx intact, but wouldn't live there if his life depended on it.Personally, I think it would be great to see the South Bronx come back to life. I'm from that neighborhood originally and have vague but pleasant memories of spring and summer jaunts in Joyce Kilmer Park or on Grand Concourse. On the other hand, if it becomes another Park Slope, forget it. |

But if a store top apartment in LIC was renting for $550 20 years ago and now gets $2000 of course a lower middle class family has to find a cheaper apartment(most likely in another part of Queens).Thanks for attacking.
