Back in my day, the brains were in the GOP. But they got stomped by the yahoos. |

At any given time older people are likely to be more conservative than contemporaneous young people. But relative to themselves as young people, today’s older folks have generally become more liberal than they once were, according to a 2007 study published in the American Sociological Review. |

In short, at least around here, definitely. Republicans use the force, democrats use science and can do math. We kinda need that around here because money ain't something in abundance here. The world has moved on past assumptions of theories that have proven wrong. We need results, and that doesn't happen with republicans. |

When an arm of the government fails you..the same government that the GOP has grid locked..AND did it to your face with no apologies..you'd have to be incredibly dense AND STUPID not to see the writing on the wall. The real war on women is happening at the state level now.As to Pap smears, the benchmark is every 3 years after 2 consecutive negatives for cell abnormality and HPV (for women over 30). It is not, nor has it ever been 4 years. It is excessive and unnecessary to test every year. Only women with a high risk factor need a yearly mammogram. What is the source for these LIES????? Prove each and every one of them with LEGITIMATE sources or retract them all. This is the babble of an ignoramus. |

But do you understand what blocking legitimate voters is all about? It used to be literacy tests (do that math) or a poll tax which poor people could NO way afford. Now it's photo ID *without* getting to them for free. Every bit as bad and wrong. Sure the republicans candyass it, but the fact is many people have to travel as much as a couple hundred miles to get one, have to PAY for one and can't afford to do it. To go to the full absurd as others have done with this, how about "Jews can't vote?" Would it bother you THEN? :( |
